◆ gd

eve::gd = functor<gd_t>
inlineconstexpr

Defined in Header

#include <eve/module/math.hpp>

Callable Signatures

namespace eve
{
// Regular overload
constexpr auto gd(floating_value auto x) noexcept; // 1
// Lanes masking
constexpr auto gd[conditional_expr auto c](floating_value auto x) noexcept; // 2
constexpr auto gd[logical_value auto m](floating_value auto x) noexcept; // 2
}
Specifies that a type is a Conditional Expression.

constexpr auto gd
elementwise_callable object computing the gudermanian gd: .
Definition: gd.hpp:77
EVE Main Namespace.
Definition: abi.hpp:18

Parameters

  • x: floating value.
  • c: Conditional expression masking the operation.
  • m: Logical value masking the operation.

Return value

  1. Returns the elementwise gudermanian of the input. In particular:
    • If the element is \(\pm0\), \(0\) is returned.
    • If the element is \(\pm\infty\), \(\pm\pi/2\) is returned.
    • If the element is a NaN, NaN is returned.
  2. The operation is performed conditionnaly.
